Alright, this is it. It feels natural for me to eat anything without crystallized sugar. I agree with TraumaJunkie that even carrots taste sweet.
Uh, for the sake of good manners, I do appreciate whatever snacks friends offer. This is the harder part. Next time I’ll bring my own bananas and boiled sweet potatoes and ask them to get some. Haha.
My sister, whom I haven’t seen for six months, said my face is clearer, though I am thinner. : ( I am not really into this get-thin-diet fad.
Anybody, help! I want to gain pounds and a bit more muscles.

November 2005. No sweets for a week, so I even stopped eating bread. My diet was rice, sweet potatoes, fruits, nuts, and water. Effect: intense crrrraving. Solution: go dancing, concentrate on working and earning, sleep more, stop thinking about cakes, scones, jellies, cream puffs… One week became two, became three, became four. I lost five pounds. It’s a side-effect. I wasn’t really planning to get slim. I like my body as it is.
Christmas. Oh, I took a slice of cake my auntie offered.(Being well-mannered can make life harder.)
New Year. Yum,egg custard. But by that time, my tongue had become sensitive to tastes, the standard custard recipe seems too sweet. I couldn’t eat beyond three tablespoons.
January 2006. My dentist said I brush my teeth well. No, it’s not the brushing. It’s the choice of food…
February 2006. Sweets are not in my list of treats anymore. Even a pile of pastries on the table has lost its meaning. My tongue can even tell whether that party food has monosodium glutamate.
