write my thesis

I put my MSA graduation application in the mail today! I almost had forgotten I needed to do this at all until I got an email announcing the deadline had been extended to 15th June. It would have been funny to have finished my thesis only to find out I couldn’t graduate… Now that won’t be the case. I can’t believe it’s almost here!

this morning. I even got the professor I wanted to work with. Class starts on 29th April. Now I need to focus on a topic for my capstone project.

I also need to contact the counselor and make sure my other credits are still good and can complete my degree for an August graduation day.

But I’ve started!

I really need the right professor/mentor because I’ve tried to do this twice before and being overseas just got to difficult for communication purposes. Currently, all of the Capstone classes for online starting in August are full and have been full since basically day 1. So, I’m getting off my butt and e-mailing the professor with whom I really want to study and I’ll see what he says. Fingers cross is he’ll clear me a spot and get me in the class.

on the Managing Change with Emotional Intelligence. Now I need to get focused on my thesis/capstone project. I need to register and start the lit review. I want to do a project to take my largest section paperless to decrease foot traffic and increase productivity! I’m down to just a months left so if I’m going to do it with this company, I’d better get on it.

When I can join the class chat, I’m always joining from tomorrow. Today’s chat was conducted on the 12th and yet I’m on the 13th. So is that living in the past or just time traveling?

I’m supposed to have already written my case study assignment. I had a highly productive Saturday and was on track to have it done early but the topic has me stymied… The assignment is to write about an emotionally intelligent (EI) leader within my company (whom I’ve already decided on) and then write about strategies for applying that in other companies. I’m struggling because T learned all his good EI leadership on his own by watching good and bad supervisors. I don’t know how to translate that to a strategy for improving leadership EI in other companies. So my brain has locked up and I don’t know how to shake it loose.

I ordered the text books I needed for the class today and logged onto the Blackboard. I’m going to have to talk to the professor about the chat times as it’s during my work day. I’ll have to see about possible make up sessions for when I won’t be able to break away, which is likely to happen at least once during the class.

I just signed up! This class actually sounds interesting and useful. I’m starting to get excited about getting back into school.

I finally got an e-mail back from Central Michigan. I’d been meaning to call but the holidays and then the 3 weeks of hell delayed me. Fortunately, I sent an e-mail a little while ago and I finally heard back. Looks like I’ll need to take one more class than I’d originally thought but it’s still very doable. Looking forward to more information.

Enrollment date: 27 Feb. Getting focused!
