and was almost a half hour late to work. Not wanting to go into work. Not wanting to deal with all the things which frustrate me and make me angry. Just wanting to stay buried under a pile of covers.

Well, I didn’t ignore it this morning which is something given I wasn’t tired until nearly 2 AM. I managed to get up at 6:30 and call my Dad for father’s day wishes.
I slept until the alarm went off at 8 but I originally woke an hour earlier than that and then stayed in bed. I have this sense of entitlement about staying in bed until I absolutely have to get out of it, even when I’ve already had enough sleep. It’s part of the problem I have with getting on time. I always ask “On time for what?” And there’s usually a problem if the answer is inexact…
So I often hit the snooze/sleep through the alarm. I almost always wake up with enough time to do the necessary things, e.g. shower, teeth brushing, breakfast. But I’m not a morning person and I often lay in bed longer than necessary and skip on plans that seem less appealing than bed. Now I’ve been inspired by koibito_k8 to make this a goal where I get it up to my alarm without snooze for 21 days straight. Weekday alarm will be 5 am for working out. Weekend alarm will by 8 am for phone calls to friends and family in the US.
