Eep.

Backwards progress…

Charged a few things on the card, and I’m at $1450. Will pay at least $350 this month, hopefully more. I REALLY want to pay this off before this summer because if I’m going to Thailand this summer, I want to go debt-free, not put myself further in debt.

Ups and downs...

Well, my debt went UP to $2500 before going down. Just made this month’s payment, and I’m down to $1500. I can afford at least $200 a month, so with NO using the card, it’ll be paid off in 9 months. I’m hoping a few months, I’ll set aside more than $200 for payments.

My second job is about to send me a paycheck for $1,000. $800 of that is going STRAIGHT to my credit card. That will be a relief.

Setback...

Used the good ole’ CC to charge a plane ticket and dress for my friend’s wedding… once I decide which of the two dresses I’m keeping and return the other, I am going to FREEZE my credit card.

Yes, I am going to make a big ice cube with my CC in the middle, so I still have it at home for ‘emergencies’, but don’t use it accidentally.

Oops.

Well, I suck and I charged about $150 more on my credit card the other day.

I just paid $100 on it today, and I plan on making TWO payments next month, now that I have 2 (3?) jobs.

It’s a step back, but I think now that I’m working so much, I should have spare money to pay it with. I’m still saying that I will have it paid off in 6 months.

I don’t want to cut up my credit card, but maybe I ought to take it out of my wallet and leave it at home.

Not *too* scary

I have a balance of about $750. If I pay a minimum of $100/month and DON’T use the card at all, I hope to have it paid off by July.
