be more responsible with money

i am still trying to get it together! however, i start my second job today. I figure that one job will be for savings, and the other will go to my “expensive and careless” habits. We will see how this month goes :-)

On a positive note, I got my income check back and i paid off most of my debts :-) Nevertheless, i did do my share in helping out the economy by doing a little shopping loL!

i just need to get a grip…be more organize…i missed two credit card payments. this is so fustrating bc it seems like it would be the simpliest thing to do and for me its not.

maybe i should keep a calender just for bills! its crazy bc im so organize at work, but my organizational skills outside of work is just a big mess

MONEY IS MEANT TO BE SPENT! But there is also a limit!! I have this terrible habit where i would spend money and sometimes having nothing to show for it. I understand the importance of saving money, and I have been … its just been more of a challenge lately because after graduating from college, I accepted a fulltime job which is now enabling me to make more money than I’ve ever had…ever! Aside from paying off loans and helping with my family with rent and my siblings’ education…i made myself believe that its okay to spend money on miscellaneous things esspecially since I never had money to splurge

I realize the importance of saving…and i know that I am in a better position where I can help out my family …but i need to be more responsible. I need to learn how to save money

I just want more descipline and its disappointing because I also know that my family and I arent rich…I want to know how and when to tell myself to stop.

All at the same time i want to have fun, travel, live life, and enjoy all of the things that money makes a possibilty. How can I reach a common ground? I defintely do not want this behavior to turn into an unchanegable characteric that lasts with me thoughout life…so this is my goal..to establish a more responsile and strict approach to spending and saving money
