Learn to knit

Many, many moons ago I could have been taught to knit by my mother. She can knit like crazy. But I am one of those people who requires a bubble of personal space with a radius of around five feet even for the most intimate interactions. Therefore, my opportunity to learn to knit from my mommy was passed up due to my unwillingness to sit on her lap to learn.
So years later I found at a craft store a little pouch that had a skien of yarn, a set of knitting needles, and a one page instruction manual… perhaps by the time snow falls I will have the hat and scarf that this little pouch claims I can make.
