Back on 43T after a long hiatus

Trying to set up GTD.
Logged everything into OmniFocus. I still have to have a review process.

No progress at all in the last 2 weeks

I didn’t even finish the book. I’ve read the whole Quickening trilogy and have started Are you somebody? instead.

Net result: my in box is overflowing and I’m getting late on critical stuff.

Email goodie

One nice bonus to immediately dispatching incoming messages to my _ACTION, _READ, _WAITING FOR folders (see my entry) is that I can sort my inbox by subject rather than by date (no message is older than one day).
I find it more effective for sorting.

Reading the book

I’ve read chapters 1-7. This is about two thirds of the book (in pages), but I’m halfway through part 2 of 3, Practicing stress-free productivity.

So I’m not sure how to make the system work, but I know how to clean all my stuff. I’ve started with my emails. I’ve also “built” my temporary IN basket (hacked a cardboard box :-) which is half full. Tomorrow, I’m filling it up.

It is temporary: I don’t intend to keep this gigantic box more than a couple of weeks.
