Spend more time with friends.

We had a genuinely good time tonight. I do sometimes feel like it is a waste to see a movie because then you aren’t really getting to talk or anything. I need to expand my group of friends in the worst way, though. I have peripheral friends that I see here and there but it is so infrequent. The majority of the time I hang out with my boyfriend and my other good friend who is also a guy. I am just so close with them and so comfortable that there hasn’t been enough motivation for me to make the effort to widen that very small circle- or triangle I should say… I have felt for a while that I really need to find some girls that I click with and sometimes I become aware of this void in my life and it is kinda sad to realize you don’t have a best girlfriend. There is this one girl who I am friends with who considers me her “bestie” but I always feel like there is some sort of crisis with her and so I really don’t even know what it would be like to actually lean on her for something. I need to find someone who is able to sometimes be the strong one so that it doesn’t always have to be me. People are hardly ever as strong as they seem…

Just had a very German dinner with 2 friends at my apartment and now we are about to head off for the movies to see Captain America! It’s a good night :)
