When I first moved here there were empty apts around me. Now they are filling. I need to think of a holiday greeting to leave on doorsteps, doorknobs, or (gasp) in person to say hello!

Trash bins 3 years ago

Often, the trash bin lids are left open, probably when the trucks come by, hoist them up and then dump them out. I have decided, for all my neighbors, that when I see this, I will close them. Sounds like a tiny goal, but it keeps the smell in, the rain out, and is not a fun thing to do (they are usually kindof grungy.)
