Home of the Main Campus of Pennsylvania State University. I went there in my junior or senior year of high school when I was looking at colleges…In fact, I was accepted to the main campus (State College) for my freshman year, but chose a different school.

Returned, oh about 10 years later, to Centre County to visit the home of a friend and attend a Penn State Nittany Lions football game (against Syracuse). What a party those fans have! I don’t recall who won, but to be oppositional I became a Syracuse (orange crush) and Denver (orange crush) fan….

One of my cousins married a girl from that area and the wedding was in Bloomsburg. He was the first relative I knew that went to college so I was quite impressed with seeing the school and the area.
