I’m doing this tomorrow. Life is a little off right now, I’ve been feeling like all sorts of crap and I know a lot of it is diet-related. I’ve had a massive craving for sugar for the past 3 weeks and I’ve eaten tons of sweet food to get over it with no luck.
Might as well just go cold turkey – no sugar, no flour.

I don’t really eat sugar unless it comes as part of my food, like the raisins in raisin bran (I generally don’t eat sweet pastries, candy, anything where the caloric intake is just not worth the investment). I have, however, been using sugar subs and that has to stop (unless it’s part of trident gum which I am addicted to and have no intention of giving up!). I mostly need the sugar subs for coffee since the thought of unsweetened coffee is revolting. I don’t drink coffee for the caffeine, I just like the flavor and the heat. Unsweetened tea should be a good alternative, so that is the goal for now, to drink tea in place of coffee to eliminate the sugar subs from my diet.
Then, maybe, I can work on reducing the flour (bread, crackers, that type of stuff). Maybe…
