Okay, my next song, that I’m going to learn and sing is going to be She Bangs by Ricky Martin! If William Hung can sing it, then I can too!

I lived a dream! I went up on stage and sang a song at the York is U Pinning Ceremony! Could you believe it? I was known for being quiet in school, and now I’m singing?! That’s what happens when you start facing your fears, and living each day to the fullest! Thanks everyone for your support in making this happen. Love you all! Watch me now become a “gangsta” rocking da house with some rap!

I’m preparing for April 4th…my big day! I will sing in front of about 60 or more students at university. It will be my first time singing in public. I’m doing it to have fun, and to go outside my comfort zone. To face my fears! My rule number one: to have FUN when I’m on stage. I’m not expecting to be a superstar or anything, just as long as I have FUN, then I think everyone else will have fun as well.
I’ve started singing Karaoke only about two months ago. Now I’m taking my singing to the next level: I’m going to perform! At the end of this month, I’m going to sing Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray for some 80 or so students at my university. I’ve already started practicing the song, and it’s going great! I’m doing this to go outside my comfort zone. I’m not a singer, but I just want to face my fears, and to have some fun. Before I can really have fun on stage, I need to know the song REALLY well, so that I won’t blank out when I sing. I might also get some girls to dance with me on stage. Here are the dance steps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnC2MNE1zuo
I’m learning the steps myself, and I will try to dance when there is only music playing, and no singing. Maybe I’ll make a video at the end :)
