I have used this drug for 9 years. I have been able to diminish my use over the last two years. It seems to be a problem for some insurance companies. I am so thrilled at the fact that I had NO asthma attacks during the heavy smoke from all the forest fires this summer. My doctor and I are working toward getting me off this drug. Perhaps this will help toward my getting health insurance. Stress reduction classes and then putting into practice what I learned have helped toward reducing the medication dose.

I’m still sifting through the mountains of information. It is beginning to make some sense. Now I have set up a meeting with an agent for next week. I know some of the questions to ask. I was able to stump a newbie insurance agent on the phone yesterday. It gave me confidence. It’s only health insurance. It’s still so intimidating.

I’ve made some requests for information and have received numerous telephone calls back. There is so much information and many different things to consider. I can do this. I just need to take my time and think it through.
