I finally got pregnant! My husband and I had been trying for 3 years! Im 9 weeks along, everything seems to be going well. We saw the heartbeat at 7 weeks, 146bpm, and we’re planning a home birth. Yay, im so happy!!

Im a 22 year old woman who has Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome, and my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for about 2 years without success. I get only about 2 periods a year, so its difficult to know when I am fertile. I have seen a doctor, and they tell me I have 2 options: Lose weight or go on the pill. I have been trying to lose weight, and Ive tried the pill but it makes me feel very ill.
So, Im trying really hard now to lose weight, because apparently PCOS is directly related to being obese.
I really hope it works, that I start getting my periods again, and then hopefully get pregnant.
