Today was my first day in a new job, as usual my bag was packed with all my essentials

weird. i just read this back. this must have been the start of the period when my depression really began to overtake me. I couldn’t get out of bed, was getting up, eating and going back to bed for the rest of the day and still sleeping through the night.

I recognise this aspect as an important sign that I need to take back control and prevent myself slipping.

How strange I should read that today, now.

..but it may be just pictures of my bed the way I’m going lately.
