I tried the Fast. A short one. 24 hours. One day. I took vitamins and drank teas and water instead of juice. Then had a small green salad with oil and lemon after the fast in the evening on the next day. I think it is good to detox your body a little here and there, especially if you eat alot of rich foods Like I do. Although I have no idea how people can fast for like 7-10 even 20 days. That can’t be healthy. People should not confuse fasting with anorexia. Fasting for two days gives your digestive system time to cleanse. I think any fasting under 4 days is good. Anything over 4 days…to me that is silly and carless. Then you are just starving your body.
I also think I enjoy food to much to starve, I have come from a food family, restaurant family, so I cant imagine not eating for a week. I am a true foodie.

I have heard wonderful things about fasting…if done properly that is. Im trying a short fast, for cleansing. Im trying to reset my diet, I’ve eaten alot of dairy as well as red meat, refined flour and rich foods. Although I will not cut these things out completely, I need to cut down considerably. My body needs a detox I think.
So Im trying a short fast, to see If it works for me.
