I have taken steps to get passed all the frustration I impose on myself when I see people doing stupid stuff.

I have a pretty intense temper. I think that it manifests itself in the way it does because not only of my environment as a child, but from the genetic combination of my parents. From what I understand, my Father has such control over himself that it is scary. He has found after his almost 60 years how to deal with the stressors that would send my mother into a gun toting frenzy. Mom does not hold anything back, and I love her for it. She puts it all on the table and could care less what the repercussions are. I have never raised a fist in anger to anyone, but I am capable of losing my cool in such a way as to need to destroy something. This has only happened a few times in my life, and luckily it has not involved self-destruction.
I used to think that it was just hubris, but a former employer once gave me a review when applying for a new job. Although it was glowing one thing still sticks with me till this day, (every day); “Scott has little patience for incompetence”. I hope that I don’t blow up one day, it might be tragic.
