Today, I actually had a Sunday off from work. So I went to a Quaker meeting.

Perlle has written 4 entries about this goal
It occurred to me that it would be a good idea to make a list of how I am defining “major religions.”
1. Hinduism
2. Buddhism
3. Judaism
4. Christianity (consisting of catholicism, eastern orthodoxy, lutheran, episcopal, methodist, presbyterian, baptist, congregational, church of christ, adventist, quakerism, unitarian universalist, mormonism, and christian science)
5. Islam
6. Scientology
7. Neo-Paganism
8. Baha’i
9. Taoism
10. Jainism
So that makes 23 counting the christian sects, and I have visited a total of 6 so far.
This goal has been hampered by a work schedule that now includes Sundays…I’ll have to look into religions who have a sabbath on Thursdays or Fridays. Hmm…
I have always been curious about religion and how people experience it. So far I have visited:
1. Southern Baptist
2. United Universalist
3. Episcopal
4. Mormon
5. Buddhist
6. Presbyterian
