Lisey's booring story 2 years ago

Just finnished “Lisey’s Story”. I was really looking forward to reading this and started off with gusto. After the first 100 pages I was starting to get worried! The book was mooving sooooo slowly. By about the 200 page marker, I was really worried! 200 pages of drivle! Forward and back, I kept loosing track of where the caractors were etc. Phew! 300 pages in and it starts to pick up, timeline moves alot quicker and the action starts.

Not one of Kings best in my oppinion, I didnt really enjoy this book.

5 down - ???? to go 2 years ago

I finnished Stephen kings “Misery”. Really enjoyed this book, alot of detail about thumbs and legs hehe, well he shouldnt have been a bad boy should he! Great book, great way of describing the pain.

Watched the film after reading this, film is good but nothing in comparision to the book!

Carrie's Dead! 2 years ago

I had seen the film some years ago, but it was another short king book so I picked it out.

I liked this book but it wasn’t the best “King” book. I still kept me entertained tho.

Bad Dog - Cujo! 2 years ago

Good book, kept me entertained, Liked his style of writing on this one, the one small thing that I didn’t like but this is nor here nor there was that there were no chapters!

Or it was a book of only one chapter 340 pages long. All in all a good book, pity about the dog tho, great twist at the end!

Second Book Dreamcatcher 2 years ago

I like Stephen King but this book was a little drawen out for me. It was about 700 pages long, which maybe isn’t the biggest of books.

He kept on going into the past with these flash backs which made me loose the track of the book, but these were needed to tell the story line OK fair enough but …….

Still a good book tho
