I’m sure I must weigh about 70kg, haven’t had a scale for over 9 months now… When I came back from Europe, after Christmas, it was summer in Peru and I started eating small plates of fruit and veg for my meals. I was home alone so controlled exactly what I ate and felt no outisde pressure. But now the boyfriend’s back and we have guests for 3 weeks and I dig in the ice cream and the pasta and the double portion breakfast.

Tonight: carrot salad! 2 years ago

Tonight, I wanna eat carrot sald: grated, with hydrated raisins and a little vinaigrette. Should get some parsley from the veg man. Also gonna eat an avocado-redpepper sandwich. And a square of dark chocolate to stay sane.

Yeeeeehaaaah!

Right, I’ve joined an online diet thing, I need to take advantage of the peruvian summer before it gets all cold and grey again.

The plan is:
  • Eat cereals with yogurt or milk plus a piece of fruit for breakfast
  • Eat normally at lunch, i.e. 3 course meal, but no deep-fried stuff. Choose the salad for starters and leave one of the feculents on the plate.
  • Dinner should be veggies, preferable ready made. Or it can be fruits. This is the one meal I’m gonna change.
Treats:
  • Coffee morning and afternoon if I feel like it
  • A square of dark chocolate in the evening (need to bring some form Belgium!!)
Exercise:
  • Get a bike to ride at w-e with my boyfriend
  • Start running again.

Right….. New country, new lifestyle, no? Lots of fruits, new daily eating habits (no birthday cakes in the office, no fattening food trolleys at lunch time, and no obese ugly people in the streets). I feel so pretty lol :-D

January calls for a light easy diet, no planning, just watching the amount and nature of food I eat. Also keeping a food diary, but no pressure. Alright until now (but it’s only been 4 days hahaha).

But closer than before. Lost about half of what I need to lose. So bored of being on a diet. Need to start running / exercising again.

Seriously, from the moment I thought, I’m on a break from my diet, I ate 3 biscuits and had a a cheesecake for dessert for lunch (granted I only ate the icing and the biscuit but still), I mean what is this about??? Oh well, at least I had a nice light supper with fruit for dessert. I declare the Cabbage Soup Diet over. Hello Weight Watchers…

Ok, this is day 5 and I’m taking a break coz I work on site, had no time to do the soup and had no tomatoes for the fish and tomato day…. I may go on weight watchers instead…something to think about.
