The more I read about the Lycian Way, the more I want to make this the focus of our trip.
Revised itinerary:
- a couple of days in Istanbul, to adjust jet lag and see this dazzling historic city
- a week hiking the Lycian Way – finding a service that will take our luggage for us (rather like when we do a supported bike tour), so we just have day packs. I want to hike from little village to town to little village, exploring ruins, seeing amazing scenery, and meeting interesting people.
