400 or so miles 16 months ago

When you ride tandem, and you’re riding 50 – 90 miles every day for a week, that’s a lot of time within a few feet of your spouse, having to coordinate literally every move together.

He’s still my man, even after all of that.

So he made dinner, and he says he’s doing the dishes, too.

Cashed in another gift certificate 19 months ago

This one was for two hours. I forgot that last time was just 90 minutes. Anyway, he managed to use up the entire time.

After riding in the rain, I took a hot bath. In furtherance of a previous goal , my husband brought me a lemonade laced with tequila to drink while in the tub.

Welcome home 23 months ago

I rode home last night in the snow – By the time I got home (late) I was shaky from cold, low blood sugar, and sheer effort of concentration.

This is why one gets married – while upon arrival I took a hot bath and thawed my toes and ankles, my husband made a fine supper: baked some marinated mahi-mahi, steamed rice, and sauted baby bok choi.

He noticed I was stressed out on Sunday so he bought me roses.

Good sport 2 years ago

It was decent of him to do the Fremont Parade with me.

Happy Birthday 2 years ago

He cashed in his gift certificate of 90 minutes of no-holds-barred, GGG activities. Was creative and made good use of his time.

After we both rode home from work and took a shower, David kindly rubbed antisceptic on my saddle sores. It really made them feel better.
