I will have met this goal – having people over every month for a year qualifies in my book.

It looks like I’ll have my cousin’s family over for Rosh Hashanah (more or less), and then Irene and her husband are coming for dinner in October.
Before the “Ride Seattle – Vancouver and Party” ride, we had two tandem teams, of Jason and Lynn, and Richard and Anne over for the traditional pre-ride pasta dinner, with garlic sourdough and green salad and dessert. Since they spent the night at our house, we also had them for a spendid breakfast of eggs, fried pork products, fruit salad, orange juice, coffee and tea.
John and his wife are coming on Friday for dinner. I think I’m making Palestinian Chicken, couscous, chick peas, eggplant, brown rice, green salad.
My bad!
OK, so what about March? I think I’m going to count the Obama meet-and-greet at my house, even if it isn’t dinner, per se. It’ll be as much work as a real dinner party, and a lot more people.
April – that’s easy – I’m hosting the family seder. You bet I’m going to count having a dozen people over.
I started this goal earlier; I’m just putting it down now. I want to have a dinner party once a month. (Having my parents doesn’t count). I have started this in November, and had met this goal every month except January’s got post-poned until February 2, so I still need to do one in February to meet this goal.
