She’s been shown the litter box and the food dishes.
Her myspace
We went to the animal shelter’s pet adoption center, and picked out a nice grey/orange 6 mos old kitten. She now needs to go to be spayed before we can pick her up. Still, $40 for the cat, the spaying, and the license. I also paid $25 for a microchip, in case she gets lost.
I think we will call her “Luna” after Luna Lovegood. We also have considered Ezri and Helena.
She’s a little shy kitty, but I think she’ll make a good lap cat. She was very disappointed to be put back in her cage at the shelter. I’m glad she’ll be coming to our house when I get back from Spokane.
What if I got down on my knees and begged and begged and begged my husband to allow a cat?
What if I did all the dishes in addition to all the cooking, and laundry, without complaint?
:-(
I would really really really like to get a cat. My daughters would really really really like to get a cat.
My husband does not want us to get a cat.
We had two cats for many years. They eventually died, at ages 16 and 15 respectively. So it isn’t like my husband doesn’t know what having a cat is like, or is allergic, or something.
He says cats are too much of a hassle. His whole life is structured around hassle reduction.
Beyond me simply bringing home a cat one day and suffering his wrath, do you all have any suggestions for us?
