List old and new role models/Idols

Matt Groening- The man from Oregon who has given America laughs since 1989. He has an endless amount of passion for comedy and manages to do so with out out resulting to vulgaritys.

Yngwie Malmsteen- I played guitar for a while and, like so many other guitarists, I worshiped this man. My favorite interviews of him are the ones where he talks about practicing until he falls asleep with the guitar in his lap. Also, his songs Black Star and Far Beyond the Sun always get me pummped for a hard days work.

Mr.Rust- My 10th and 12th grade music teacher. Despite what you may think I don’t admire him for his musicianship but for his innocent approach to life. He is an optimist through and through. I have always wanted to see the world through his eyes.

Mel Bay- No, not the company. The man behind the company. I have played more then a few instruments in my short life so far ,and Mel Bay publications has been my supplier of knowldge. BUt Mel Bay the man is something even better. I can not think of a man who is loves to teach more then him. His joy to teach is like a sickness that has somehow been put in to the books he has written. Mel bay publications contain many good books but the ones written by Mel Bay are eternal.

Martin Luther King Jr- Dr.King is more of a super hero than an idol to me. To lead a nation out of such darkness deserves more words then I can put down in a life time of writting.

Mrs.Nolan- Tough but fair, I was and am lucky in my education, all my teachers have been of outstading quality.But Mrs.Nolan wastough on me and pushed me as a student. I recall getting so angry at my poor writting skills that I would stay up all night to make the perfect copy, and then go and look at it again the next day for hours, and the next the same thing. She was tough,but I honestly belive it was out of love for us.

Mrs.Tanaka- Awww Mrs.Tanaka, she was a teacher, but in reallity she was a in-school mom. She really loved her students and really was like a mother. Often this was bad for her teaching since she would enable us just like a real mom, but sometimes you just want to be loved.

James Galway- He is the best flute player in the world, but unlike so many other super stars he is so humble and kind. Thoes years of hard work to become the best were not to gratify his vainity instead he just loves what he does. I wish every one lived like him.

Peter Mullan- Mostly for his directing of N.E.Ds, he is making movies that are more then just explosions and big name stars doing stupid things. They have meaning.
