Phantom_Mermaid has written 8 entries about this goal

Seems like....

no one is doing this every day. Maybe we don’t need to do it everyday, though. Anyway, I want to do monthly and daily goals here. Here are the ones I want to work on right now.

IN NO INTENTIONAL ORDER OF IMPORTANCE.

Monthly:

1. Write this story concerning life in Appalachia and MTR than I’m supposed to turn in and hope I’m not too late with it.

2. Do all the things on my daily list below.

3. Work on flickr account.

4. Decide on a Halloween costume.

5. Go to the genealogical family reunion.

6. See if I can still do a survey at a local hospital. It may be helpful to someone and I get a gift card. With these ridiculous gas prices, it could prove handy.

7. Work on reivsing a poem of mine.

8. Remove something off one particular website.

9. Remove something off another particular website.

10. Take some photographs I’ve been meaning to take.

11. Work on a blog.

12. Respond to a blog post.

Daily:

1. Reschedule missed dentist appointment.

2. Missed work today and need to go to the doctor and get an excuse.

3. While at the Dr.’s I need to try to get a standing order for CBC with differential blood test because I need blood work every so often, and would rather not have to pay for a dr.’s visit everytime, when all I need is the lab work/my blood count.

4. Send a letter to the governor of West Virginia to urge him to save Coal River Mountain.

5. Send an email to an organization I’m involved with to ask them to alert the members about the issue- and spread the word myself, including posting about it here in the make a difference section.

6. Contact this one lady and ask her about an anti-MTR thing she wanted me to do before. See if she can still use my help.

7. Contact a member of my organization and explain a situation to her.

8. Call Waverly Hills to see if they have any openings for 4 and 8 hour tours this October.

9. Email my cousin about a genealogy based family reunion.

10. Go to a local fest, volunteer at booth.

11. Contact this lady I should have ages ago and hope she’s not mad at me for not contacting her sooner.

12. Burn some cds.

First things First, I Guess

Since I just went through a big list, I want to chop it up and figure out what to do within the next couple of days.

I need to do the following three for Monday- 6. Finish my story charts for Eng, 7. Finish poetry and drama charts for poetry, and 8. Review and edit my Eng. drama response paper. I really should do 5 this weekend, as well. Also, it would be best if 9 and 10 were also done this weekend. Anywhere up till Monday morning, really, is optimal.

So, let me make some goals for what I want done today and what I want done tommorrow, or at least by Monday morning. Actually, I’m just going to divide it into two days. If I switch today and tommorrow around- fine. So, day A I want to do 6, 7, & 8. Day B I want to do 5, 9, and 10. It’s okay to mix them somewhat, but I just wanted an idea of how much I want to have done by the end of a day.

So much to do

This isn’t exactly a “daily” goal entry this time, but it’s close. I want to have most of this done by the end of this weekend….or by Monday morning. I want almost all of it done by Tuesday and I want every bit of it done either by Tuesday evening or at least by Friday, but preferabbly by Tuesday evening. I want most of this to be more of a weekend goal, though.

1. Read chapters 1-9 in Anatomy textbook (I’ve already read most of these chapters, but I want to re-read them)

Ch. 1, Ch. 2, Ch. 3, Ch. 4, Ch. 5, Ch. 6, Ch. 7, Ch. 8, Ch. 9

2. Answer questions for Ch. 7, 8, and 9 in anatomy.

3. Read over some of my Psych. textbook

4. Read over some of my Religion textbook

5. Do my Vampire paper for Anatomy

6. Finish my story charts for Eng.

7. Finish poetry and drama charts for poetry

8. Review and edit my Eng. drama response paper

9. Do my online math

10. Review sec. 3 and 4 in math

11. Work on my critical review paper for Eng.

12. Answer questions for Anatomy paper

13. Write something for my next therapy session

14. Email a couple of teachers and talk to them

15. Work on paper to send senator

16. Email friend

17. Check online site for shirt I want in my size

There’s more, but I’ll just leave this for now. Most of the rest of it involves things that aren’t much work.

Today.....

I haven’t exercised really, yet and still need to do kegels. I DID schedule a dentist appointment and an eye doctor’s appointment, re-opened my old mail box (so my FAFSA PIN could come in) and filled out my papers for my college application. I don’t have time right now to go get my transcript from one of my old colleges, so I have to wait till Monday (they aren’t open on Saturdays) to get it. I’m going to wait till I get my transcript before I turn in the application papers. When I go to turn those in, I’m going to check on a loan, too. I feel like I have not done enough today.

1. Make dentist appointment (thinking about changing the time, though, but keeping the date)
2. make eye doctor appointment (wish it could be earlier)
3. Finish filling out school application
4. Turn in school application (not going to be done till Monday- see above for reason)
5. Open my mailbox back up
6. See if I can find out something I wanted to know about an old newspaper article (details later).... Well, I sort of did this, but I didn’t find out anything. If I don’t figure it out today I need to try my butt off trying to find it out tomorrow.
7. Exercise
8. Do kegels

I know this is for daily goals, but.....

I want to include the weekly ones, too. This week, I want to fill out and turn in several job applications, look for places to rent, schedule doctors appointments, call back about my medical bills AGAIN, see what I can do to help stop strip mining, and finish filling out my school stuff- except financial aid because I have to wait on that. I also want to do some goals basically everyday for forever, basically. I want to- exercise (may do this every other day at first, since I’m trying to build muscle), study Cherokee (or review it once I learn it), and do kegels…..also I want to do something to help out the world or just help someone or something besides myself- everyday.

Remember those last goals?

Nothing really got done. I applied for my PIN, but I’ll have ti wait for it in the mail, rather than aquiring it through email because I can’t remember the answer to my challenge question. I think I did a complicated trick answer or some crap. I didn’t exercise then, but I did this morning. Today I seriously need to-

1. Grab some job applications (carry over)

2. Submit some job applications (carry over)

3. Fill out my school application and think more about which classes I want to take even though I have to wait to see about financial aid before I can really do much with this (carry over)

4. Exercise (already done, but may do more)

5. Look into places to apply for school loans

It's after 5 in the morning so....

New day, new goals. Actually some carried over. I may add more later today. Here goes.

1. Get my PIN# again, for financial aid application (carry over)

2. Grab some job applications (carry over)

3. Submit some job applications (You’re right Smallvic, no need to wait on submitting a few)

4. Get a little exercise in (daily goal)

5. Fill out my school application and think more about which classes I want to take

My Goals Today.....

Honestly, I’m not sure if I’ll manage to do all of these today, but hey I can shoot for it and if it doesn’t work, maybe I’ll get something done at least. As I finish these, I’m going to slash them out and may make little notes by them.

1. Pick up my room a little bit (Needs more work, but I got done what I intended to do on it, today)

2. Send a friend an E-Card (This is complicated. I tried, but I ended up being a bit late, and then it bounced prob. cause it was sent from a website, not an individual and they prob. filtered it out)

3. Buy my friend something

4. Try to get some way to get this dvd I want

5. Get my PIN# again, for financial aid application

6. Pick up a list of classes from this local school

7. Call someone about my medical bills

8. Get a nap in (didn’t get any sleep last night)

9. Get a little exercise in

10. Grab some job applications

I didn’t finish everything, but got some of it done and I also picked up a college application. Plus, I tried to install my webcam, but it turns out it isn’t compatible with Vista. WHAT IS really?! What is?!
