Grow in Christ

I’ve been reading and discovered 3 things that will bring us cloer to Him: Love- of everyone, unconditionally (probably the most difficult), Complete abandonment to God, and Humility.

Interpret them as you see fit and work on applying them to your life. The sacrifices we make now are nothing compared to the joys and fulfillment of our desires that await us in Heaven.

My prayers for all who took on this goal.

Hi. I’ve been reading some of the postings here and I must say you all give me hope. God won’t let me fall away from the Church. I’ve tried. It’s never going to happen.

I am a youth minister now and whenever I’m supposed to give a talk on “Following your dreams” and “being an individual” I have difficulty. I want to tell them the truth: Being an individual means being misunderstood. It means even though you will have the best friends in the world, they are few and far between. When you choose the path that Jesus walked, the obstacals are greater because you didn’t put them there, others did. And it sucks when people say that you can’t do something when your intention is to do it for the greater glory of God- and it is SO possible.

Sorry for dumping on all of you, but I know you understand and are probably going through the same thing.
