Beh, arts is not what I expected. I’ve been having trouble with some of my subjects. The good thing is though that I know better now what I’m going to focus on in my degree, namely I’ve recognised the things I’m good at and what I enjoy most. Language study is going well, so I’m going to pick up another language, probably Spanish, next year. Also, I enjoy development studies and I feel it’s a practical course with good career prospects especially if I team it with some politics subjects.
So, overall, first year(even though I’m only half way into it) has been a learning experience for me. I treat it like it doesn’t count too much, it’s really just the transition year.
It’s also nice to talk to people who have failed subjects and are still doing fine. LOL!
