My Dilemma 2 years ago

I can’t stand it any longer. I HAVE to have the Nikon D80 with the 18-200 VR lens. So here is my dilemma – do I buy it from a camera store OR do I buy it on ebay for $500 less than in the stores. Price dictates that online is the better option but I like the security of knowing that if there are any problems I can go back to the store directly. The trader online has mainly positive feedback but there would be a time delay in dealing with any problems…but the price is so tempting.

What would you do?

Want but don't Need 2 years ago

Oh how I want a digital SLR so I can take magical photos! I was somewhere today that made me crave a camera that would really capture that moment. I also have a new found desire to go to Cuba because it seems like such a photogenic place. My fear is that this is just a phase and I wouldn’t get the same level of use out of it as I would a really good digital. But the thought of all the great things I could do with different lenses makes me second guess myself…
