I have to admit, I was terrible while I was in Phoenix. Burritos, frybread, pastry..I’m lucky I only gained three pounds. The awesome part was not needing a seatbelt extender on the plane. Not only that, I didn’t feel like I was spilling over the seat. Woot! Now that I’m back home, I have to refocus.

I made it to the 25 pound mark! This week, there were no major events, nothing trauma-like. I ate well, ate healthy, and never noticed I had smaller portions and just made healthier choices. I gave up the Red Bull as well! I thought this would be an awfully daunting task since I quit smoking about a week before I started this, but I feel like I’m falling into a life change, and less like following a strict guideline. I hope I can keep this up.

This felt absolutely awesome. But bad things keep happening that cause me to lose weight. I was in a hit and run accident the day after I moved into my new shack, and spent the day in the emergency room, being told I couldn’t eat. Of course I had spent the previous day trudging up and down 30 steps moving light items into my apartment. While I may have lost 3 pounds, I can see a difference in the tone of my legs and arms too…so I’m making an effort to be as active as I can with a major back injury. I’m almost at 25 pounds lost! How awesome is that?

I feel okay about this, I think. O've done really well getting the first 20 off, and since I'm moving tomorrow, I haven't been eating well the past day or so. I'll burn it all off moving, for sure.

This week, I existed on coffee, sugar free Red Bull, and hummus. No, it’s not exactly the halthiest of diets, and it wasn’t intended on being that way, but I was busy. And staying busy seems to help. I need to remember that lettuce is my friend, and that I can eat a spinach salad for lunch and dinner if I so choose.

I'm bloated this week, and while I think I'm doing okay, I'm pretty sure the comfort food isn't helping all that much. Why do I lose my willpower these few days a month?

I made it to 20 pounds! Wooooooooot! It’s insane how my clothes are fitting (or not), and how I feel when I look in the mirror. It’s not easy, and it’s no cake walk, but I’m making life changes along with eating changes…and it’s all working out for the better.

I’ve lost another pound since my last stat post. My doctor was elated!! Lotsa water, lotsa green things, lotsa..well…coffee.

I fluctuated a little bit this past week and a half. I lost three, but gained two back after a rather nasty weekend of emotional eating. Sometimes, I really hate boys.
