So, knowing I was about to have four wisdom teeth ripped out of my head, I decided to get into my kitchen and make a soup that would not only take care of my nutritional needs, but taste good too. Oh, and make sure it tasted good pureed.
I cooked down chicken and chicken bones I had saved in the freezer to make a stock. I strained the stock of bones and meat, and then picked the chicken apart and put it back into the stock. I added 6 Idaho gold potatoes, two large broccoli “blooms”, and a large bloom of cauliflower. I cooked that all down, and added a tablespoon of protien powder to it as well. While it was simmering, I added fresh garlic, onion, cayenne pepper, and kosher salt.
Ran it through the food processor three times, and put it into about 10 single serving containers.
Oh. Em. Gee. It has been so good, and it doesn’t hurt at all. I think this will be my staple for any time I have to be on a liquid diet.
