write a novel

I seriously hate that this bad boy has been put on the back burner lately, but such is life. I find myself missing writing and really only make time to write in bits and pieces.

I am still enjoying myself and I am keeping this goal of course, even though later drafts will need some major revising. I guess that’s what happens when you write on the fly!

I finished chapter 2 today. It feels a little less polished than chapter 1 (I had to kick my own but to get some of it written) but it’s done and I can edit later.

And now, on to chapter 3…

After getting revved up and falling in love with writing during NaNoWriMo, I’ve decided to take on a bigger project.

I’ve started my next novel. The goal is around 100,000 words and I’d like to be done before next March.

I’m not counting my NaNoWriMo novel because it felt more like an exercise, to be honest. I’d like to stretch my legs a little and see what I can do on my own, in my own time.
