two times... 5 months ago

I just can’t fit three times in, although I am trying! The thing is I have plenty of other fun things to do, such as drawing classes and theater and meeting friends plus the flylday stuff, so I am only doing yoga every thursday after work – feels fantastic! and jogging on the weekend. I can put jogging on wednesday night also but that will be only every now and then because generally wednesday is the day to do laundry (every two weeks) and then also to stay at home and have a quiet evening because much as I love social life, sometimes I also need to be alone and enjoy silence from time to time plus I can do the online stuff and all…but I really enjoy the feeling after exercising – it’s beautiful…:)

So I went jogging today with two friends – it was beautiful because we chose a very lively park and the weather was great. I decided to make this a regular event and now we are thinking of how to organize it. The plan is to run twice a week maybe Tuesday and Thursday after work. This means I have to include in my Monday and Wednesday routines that I need to pack some food to eat before leaving my office and also running clothes as it would be really complicated if I come back home first and then go to the park. On the weekend we are going to swim, as we found a beautiful swimming pool close to where I live, which is open on both saturday and sunday. I so much hope this will be a routine soon!!!

gym! 7 months ago

went to the gym yeasterday and now my muscles are all completely sore. It feels good – every movement is a reminder of that I did move yesterday. I am beginning to think that I don’t exercise because I love it so much I consider it a kind of reward, so I only allow myself to exercise when I have finished my 200-item to-do list, which is more or less never because I somehow always come up with more things to do. I guess I should start thinking of it as a chore instead – then I might actually use my discipline a bit. I really wonder why I am so disciplined about things I hate and so undisciplined about things I like? Like I can get oragnized and find my way around spending hours doing things I hate but I can never be free to do things that I really want and enjoy?
