dress up and look lovely more often

Time to tidy myself up abit. Living the small town dream has made me lazy. But three people last week asked me if I had lost weight so thats not too bad.

Making abit more of an effort.

to be tidier at work. But its a good day if I get make up on my face. Having some good hair days though. Cold weather really helps with trousers, closed in shoes or boots, jackets….

I am really not a girly girl. I have gone through my wardrobe and thrown out things that are too old, too tight, marked or just plain unflattering.

Even though its not PC – I have abit of a tan and that helps too.

Atleast I am getting my eyebrows and lashes done on a regular basis now.

I even managed makeup for a few days last week for work

I prefer comfort over style.

But I know that as the weather gets cooler, I will look smarter. I do Autumn, Winter and Spring so much better than summer!

This is not my strong point. I am not really a girly girl and I like to be comfortable. I have some nice clothes but no occassions to wear them. And, I look abit like the girl in ‘Circle of Friends’ who said she looked like a figurehead on the prow of a boat. lol

Still I do manage to paint my nails in clear vanish from time to time.
