I’m not buying anything unless it’s to replace something. It’s disgusting that all my friends are salivating over the latest games machine or buying 32” TVs they can’t afford….one of my friends is £30k in debt and he talks of buying these things and has a baby on the way! The power of advertising!
I hate the whole “buy our product and you will look better, live longer, have more friends, be happier” crap. I have everything I need.
The funny thing is, my girlfriend was talking about buying a bigger TV this year and I was resisting. Now her best friend has actually given us a bigger Tv for nothing!
My money is going to get me out of debt and then buy me experiences rather than things. I want to buy and restore a camper van!
