plan my wedding...

Called photographer and told him we postponed the wedding and called the reception hall and cancelled. Now I just have to figure out a new date. At least I have my dress!

Lots of things are going on right now so it looks like we may have to postpone our wedding. I’m a little bit sad and a little bit relieved. We are going to talk to the restaurant this Friday and hopefully we can work something out. I may lose my deposit but that’s ok. But some good news, my dress is finally in!! I pick it up on Friday!:)

I went shopping for bridesmaids dresses last Sat. I found three:/ I still have to load up the pics and send to my girls so I can get some opinions. I also found some cheap invitations on Target! Yippee!!! I’m going to take sometime Sunday to see what I need to do and start getting aggressive about planning.

I have to be the laziest bride ever!!! I really should have hired a wedding planner. I wonder if it’s too late for that? I still haven’t booked any florist yet nor have I got the save the dates that should have gone out. I’m terrible!!! So here’s my list for next week:

1. Go over and finalize guest list (it's already done but baby wants to go over it again, grrr...)
2. Make appointment with Florist
3. Get my save the dates ordered from Shutterfly
4. Get blocks of hotel rooms reserved
5. Set up a wedding website so guest will be informed about hotels and things.

Finally!!! I’m glad I waited because I ended up hitting a big sale and got $175 off!!! Woo-hoo!! Now I really need to get started on my save the dates. I want to get them out by the end of this month!!

I have made my to-do list. I have checks made out the venue and photographer that I need to send out. I’m going to try to stop by the hotel Friday to block some rooms for the guest. I’m also going to try and buy my dress this weekend!

Is to come up with some ideas on bouquets and centerpieces!

I have the reception site booked and my photographer booked and that’s it!!! My wedding is in 6 months and I have no desire to plan. I did get the guest list done, finally! I have it down to a 100 on my “A” list and thirty on my “B” list. I need two list because of our budget. Hopefully we will be able to invite everyone but it’s not looking that way!
I also bought a organizer and put everything in there.
