It’s been great to this point, my 3 kids are midteens and I worked tirelessly with my wife to raise them all these years. And they turned out so amazing. But now as I find myself having to move away from them as a result of divorce, I want to make sure that they don’t lose any connection to me, and that my kids know that I am always there for them. I can see the breakup is taking a toll on them, as expected, but not as bad as you’d think, because I maintain an upbeat, close relationship with each of them. They each have lots of pursuits, too, so they stay busy, which helps.
