I love making CDs for people but I am a bit confused as to how we swap music without actually making a CD (what a luddite I must seem!)
I have an ipod and I can burn CDs on my laptop but as for files/sizes that other people have written about, I have absolutely no idea what it all means! I would love for someone to explain how you actually do ‘it’.

As for my music tastes, I guess I listen to lots of pop/rock/alternative stuff. I like Belle and Sebastian, The White Stripes, Pulp, Elvis Costello, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Dusty Springfield, Burt Bacharach, Jack Johnson, Martha Wainwright, Fiona Apple, The Bee Gees, Kings of Leon, Sly and the Family Stone, Eminem, cheesy 80s one-hit-wonders.And probably lots more that I can’t remember right now.
I would really like to broaden my music tastes and especially listen to more classical music but I am never sure where to start. Suggestions would be much appreciated.
I recently wrote an entry on my blog (http://www.pomgirl.blogspot.com) about a mix CD that I made, you could always tell me what you think of it?

Happy Swapping!
