Prove them wrong

I got an invitation to submit my designs to a magazine. I’m really psyched about it. I wasted a week cleaning andf prpeparing the apartment for a roommate that I had to get for financial reasons. I’m really fortunate that I got a good person. However, I have no privacy what so ever.

Anyway, it’ll be quite a challenge to rise to the occasion because my cousin is coming into town and we’ll be sharing the same space…even less privacy!

On the very funny show, the BBC version of “The Office,” Ricky Gervais (sp?) has a quote, “you never know how far you’ve climbed until you fall, and you never know how far you’ve fallen until you’re climbing out of the trough.” Or something like that.

I’m busy climbing out!

So far, I’m proving them right!

In my head, I am great. Now if I could just get the things in my head out into reality.

I sort of have done this…at least half way. I’m light years from where I was. Now I just need to make the big bucks to totally stick it in.
