Summer Librarian 2 years ago

Yesterday I completed my first day as a summer librarian at the Alternative Resource Library (ARL). The position is volunteer but I am responsible for all library tasks (much better than simply shelving books). The ARL is only one room but it is full of wonderful books, movies, and other resources which cannot be found in mainstream libraries (Public, University etc.).
I am really excited about this and it is so much fun! I am going to run film sceenings throughout the summer to promote the lib and get ppl into the lib.
Although this position is amazing and perfect I am still going to work on this goal since I would like to get my MLS and become a full time Librarian for my future career.
