My grandfather and his father spoke Hungarian really well even though none of my family is from Hungary (I’m from Croatia). I love the Hungarian language, and I’m learning as much vocabulary and grammar as I can. However, there is no place to learn this fascinating language where I live, and no one I know speaks it, so it’s going pretty slowly (I’m learning online). I listen to Hungarian music so my pronunciation is fairly good. The grammar is so different from any other language I know that it’s very difficult to get used to, but actually very logical. Also, there are almost no words in Hungarian that are familiar to me. However, I’m motivated and nothing can stop me!
