last night we ventured to peddlers pub for munroe day’s eve! i had never been there before and it was a nice break from regular places. i really liked it there and we even met a potential roommate! excuse the lacklustre entry as i am feeling a little hung over if you will. point is, going to new places on MUNROE DAY”S EVE! is great fun. halifax is a great place to be.

things i’d like to do in the next 2 weeks despite having to study already for midterms!
1. go for a hike/walk in point pleasant
2. go see the ancient egypt/greece exhibit at AGNS
3. go see giant robotic insect exhibit at the natural history museum
4. go to clay cafe
5. go to a new bar
6. do to harbour walk despite the cold with a cup of tea
7. go to tom’s little havana
8. learn a new bus
9. see if i can find a way to peggy’s cove to visit, wlak around, maybe take some pictures, and eat fish and chips
10. probably go to this!!!

we didn’t go to see giant robotic insects last weekend, but thats OK! because we’re going soon.
other places of interest i have been in halifax: gus’s pub! what a great place. i would like to go again. its the type of snobby atmosphere i’m used to (unfortunately) so there are lots of snobs to mock! hahha but really it was fun. i liked it alot.

last night there was a crazy thunderstorm. i dont really know whats going on since this is halifax and its january. it should be a snowstorm, but no. either way, lying in bed listening to a gale (as i called it) is fantastic when you can’t sleep! an east coast gale. i love living so close to the ocean. i pretended i was on a boat. it was nice.
today me and eric went to maki maki, for suchi. i had never been there before and was surprised. its so small but the food is delicious. i am happy to have tried this delicious halifax restaurant.
this weekend, i’m taking the roommates to the natural history museum to see GIANT ROBOTIC INSECTS. it should be awesome. JUST LIKE HALIFAX…..YEAH!

used the bus system by my SELF yesterday. goooooood times. i feel more than ever that halifax is at my finger tips with my new bus pass and bus taking abilities. tonight we may go to the movies, or go bowling (!), something that i have never done in halifax before! zooooooooot!

i went to the lower deck on saturday night with chloe and meg. it was SUCH a great time. it was really great nova scotian atmosphere. tomorrow i have no school so i am going to spend all day at the kings library. WORKING HARD. kings library is awesome!

last night i went to see a movie with chloe and meg. today me and meg went to the market and then walked around downtown. we went to shops! we saw huge enormous boats in the harbour! in general we felt very nova scotian and kept commenting on how awesome halifax really is. tonight we are going to a great haligonian spot. the alehouse! bottoms up.
