start a band

My singer friend and I made some flyers to find a drummer and a couple of guitarists. I’m also coming up with a song. It’s in my head, and I really should get it down before I forget.

I talked to one guy I know that plays guitar and actually kind of knows what he’s sort of doing (which is a miracle for me). I’ll have to run it by my friend though. She says she’d rather have an all female band, but seeing as this guy likes to feel feminine, hopefully that’ll qualify enough, though she doesn’t really know him and she wants it to be close friends (but then we’d probably already have started).

It’s mildly depressing to think about it in a way since nearly every band I’ve ever been in died before anything happened. But my boyfriend and I are thinking about putting something together and starting out as some sort of duet and expanding from there. It was more of a fleeting thought than any particular plan, but fleeting thoughts sometimes turn into something.
