My doctor said my numbers were not bad enough to worry about. She’s more concerned that I put on some pounds (yeah right!). She said she’d be worried if I was otherwise unhealthy, but all other lab results say everything is A-OK. I guess I need to quit eating all my boyfriends buttery sweets. :)

My total number is 208. My LDL is 132. My HDL could afford to be higher—it is 53. My TRIG is A-OK at 116. So I am basically eating oatmeal, kidney beans, brussels sprouts, apples, pears, barley, prunes, oat bran, walnuts, almonds, Albacore tuna, salmon and flaxseed.
I love eggs and I also love to bake, so between eggs and butter, I think I should’ve seen this coming.
Any other suggestions would be great! I am going to try and do this naturally with diet and exercise.
