finish reading all the books I own

I just got about 5 more books for Christmas. I have realized that this goal is unattainable for me. Just as sooooon as I get somewhat near the end of the stack, I stack more onto the pile.

Well, right before my friend came to visit me last weekend, I cleaned out my little library in the guest “suite”. :> I was astonished at how many books I still had to read! I am notorious for buying books when I have a stockpile still left to go in the basket beside the bed (and in stacks all around it (at this point, I should put wood on the top of them and make tables with book legs)). I really need to stop buying books for the time being. I just don’t know how to walk out of the bookstore without something. And what is worse is that I go to the bookstore about 3x a week! It is my serenity, my solace, my sublime stomping ground. I think I should start going to the library instead, but they don’t serve espresso. ;P
