OK so if Southern Railway had the equivalent of a Fat Controller then he would have been sat on his fat arse having an epic wank this morning!! If only we didn’t have to pay unless the train was as advertised, on time and of the correct length – the majority of my travel would be free.

So not in the mood to be at work either. Must remember what Crunchy said about it being part of the big picture and paying for the rest of my dreams etc. etc.

  • do something nice for lunch to make the day bearable

Feeling pretty whacked! But the rain has stopped at least!

  • Gym – 1hr treadmill intervals + 1K swim

  • buy scales

Must get a wriggle on this morning!!

  • make very quick card for dad!
  • GYM! They have this New York City Ballet-inspired dance class that I’m dying to try (if I have the guts) – could be pretty hilarious! If not then gym and whatever happens swim!
  • COFFEE
  • Visit parents, take present for dad and try to amuse him (it’ll probably be the other way round though!)
  • Buy swimsuits from the big tesco
  • find something to watch that isn’t x-factor! ha!

Happy Birthday Dorset Granny!

Really weird night – slept from about 9 to 12 then woke up and was awake until 4.30, then slept until gone 9.30 – just as well I’m not at work!

  • GYM – done, 12min ints cross-trainer (blegh), full round of weights (6×15x3, took about 35mins) then 1K in the pool
  • Journal – little bit more to do
  • will do some piano next I think…
  • have a round-up of songs/lyrics
  • guitar/song work

Feel in a happy cotton-wool holiday state… and not overly energetic! But I have done the most important thing at least.

  • 1hr swim (actually it was only about 58 mins before the alarms all started goin off and we had to evacuate… errr! Made the astoundingly stupid decision to put clothes on over my wet swimsuit and then dash home dripping through the centre of town! Hope that never happens again!) did 1K in 26min, 2K in 55.5min (ish) and 2080m altogether, then came home, showered and promptly fell asleep again!

Just going to enjoy not having any plans for the rest of the day as tomorrow I have things I must do!

Am home alone again somehow while BF is out at his friend’s watching his team play his friend’s team hope he doesn’t get in a fight!

Anyway I have done the most important things today:
  • lie in
  • 1hr swimming – longer and faster than yesterday woot!
  • Gingerbread latte!

The rest of the day I will be mostly lounging about! Yay!

I bloody love being on holiday! Excellent start made this morning!
I don’t think I’ll be posting to-do lists but instead will try and keep track of what I’ve been doing…

  • gym: 1hr swim + jacuzzi – yay!
  • get own locker sorted – double yay!
  • spend stationery voucherdoes life get any better??!
