speak spanish fluently

Got through 10 chapters in my Spanish II workbooks in the past two weeks.
Yayy =].

I’m alright with infinitive, preterite, and imperfect verb forms, and I know a bit about imperative, but… ehh… I really want to keep this one moving over the summer. I can’t imagine coming this far and letting myself slip =[.

Watched Pan’s Labyrinth tonight. Great movie =]. I think I’ll watch it again tomorrow with Spanish subtitles. It goes so fast >_<. But it’s the only way to learn, eh? Muy bien =].

I had a dream last night that people were speaking to me in spanish and I could literally see the words coming out of their mouths. Unfortunately, even the words I knew were confusing me =[.
I think that’s a bad sign? =_=
But I have pretty strong motivation to learn! One of my favorite people in the world lives in Mexico. I’d like to be able to speak to him in his native language =]. I need to finish my Spanish grammar and activity books before the school year’s over to get credit for the class; crunch time is rapidly approaching <_<;;.

I just switched into a Spanish II class, so I’m starting up again =]. I’ve forgotten a lot of the basics, but I still have some founding to work off of. Hopefully I’ll be able to understand spoken Spanish within the next year =].
