Childfree, not childless :)

I’m always the one at the party entertaining the kids, which is maybe why it comes as such a shock when I tell people I don’t wish to have children of my own (usually in response to questions of why on earth I haven’t “popped out a bundle of joy already!”).

Instead of spending so much time defending accusations of being unnatural and selfish, from now on I will assume the people who go on and on about it are the very people who have most difficulty with their own decision.
