Excel at my job

Find a new one that is both a better fit for me so excelling at it will be easier.

Most likely (fingers crossed) it will be more lucrative too.

My big boss complemented me on my performance during an approval meeting today.

“Good work today, Emily! That’s how the committee goes… sometimes different people understand the questions being asked better than others, so you have to feel free to jump in when you know that you know the answer they want.”

I like it. I think the work is pretty interesting. I like the people I work with. I get paid well.
I need to focus on this and make this a priority. Not to just do the bare minimum, but to really excel.
