21st audio book

Doppelganger by Michael Parker.

Really enjoyable and non-generic sci fi book set in Sydney, Australia.

Understand the author is quite new and the ideas in this book are novel and fresh. Will look out for more books by him in the future.

So far I have listened to 20 books

A mixture of fiction, radio shows, memoirs and non-fiction.

In no particular order:

  1. The Chrysalids
  2. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: The Primary Phase
  3. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: The Secondary Phase
  4. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, The Tertiary Phase
  5. The Hare with Amber Eyes: A Hidden Inheritance
  6. Where the Bodies are Buried
  7. Dead Like You
  8. The Secret History
  9. Timequake
  10. Cryptonomicon
  11. The Time Traveler’s Wife
  12. The White Tiger
  13. Never Let Me Go
  14. If Only They Could Talk
  15. It Shouldn’t Happen to a Vet
  16. Let Sleeping Vets Lie
  17. Vet in Harness
  18. The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine
  19. Katherine Swynford: The Story of John of Gaunt and His Scandalous Duchess
  20. The Time Traveller’s Guide to Medieval England: A Handbook for Visitors to the Fourteenth Century

Really enjoyed the James Herriot books (#14-17) and thoroughly recommend #20 The Time Traveller’s Guide to Medieval England: A Handbook for Visitors to the Fourteenth Century. I’ve listened to this a couple of times now and it’s really wonderful.
